Description
Measurement in Mathematics Book 7 aims to further develop the attitudes, understandings and skills students have acquired in working with the measurement strand in previous years. Specific hands-on tasks involve calculations using millimetres, centimetres, metres and kilometres, perimeters, diameters and circumferences of circles; viewing relationships btween the area of rectangles and triangles; measuring volume by displacement using cubic measures and 3D models; measuring mass using suspension and projection; and activities based on timelines, calendars, clocks and time uinits.
