Designed to enhance reading and spelling skills, the activities in Phonic Blends Book 1 are arranged sequentially to ensure ongoing revision and consolidation of phonic skills.
There are two parts to each activity, both incorporating visual clues to aid word recognition. In addition, sentence activities provide revision of blends previously treated.
‘Try to Remember’ activities throughout the books can be used as specific assessment tools by teachers.
