Pacemaker: Mammals Over the Ages

Description

This fully revised series of photocopiable activity books uses a structured, three-tiered approach to cater for gifted and/or talented students working within the regular classroom. There are titles available for: Junior Primary, Middle Primary and Upper Primary. Activities have been presented in a range of interesting and motivating theme books linked to upper primary student outcomes. The Pacemaker Series can be used for advanced students working independently or as an adjunct for topics studied by the class throughout the year.

Pacemaker: Mammals Over the Ages enables students to explore connections between prehistoric mammals and their modern-day counterparts. With a science-based focus on understanding physical structure and function, students are also encouraged to extend their knowledge by putting forward researched and original ideas on issues such as food chains, adaptations and extinction.
