Measurement in Mathematics Book 1 concurs with current curriculum theories in that it provides activities which follow on from free play investigations. The activities are easy to use, with each thematic concept introduced with teachers’ notes. It contains sections on length, area, volume, capacity, mass and time. Many activities are designed to be taken in small groups, preferably with a parent helper.
