Real Life Maths Book 2 is designed to present students with “real life” contexts that require an understanding of a range of mathematical processes. Remedial Fractions

The Remedial Maths Series is designed to provide remediation in key areas of mathematics. The books are directed towards upper primary children requiring assistance with concepts incorporated in the final three years of the primary school mathematics curriculum.

Remedial Fractions explains the basic concepts of fractions, including the relationship between fractions, decimals and percentages. The activities are sequenced in line with standard syllabus structures, covering a number of stages as opposed to a straight year level, and will provide students with the opportunity to catch up on much-needed skills.

Measurement in Mathematics Book 6

Measurement in Mathematics Book 6 aims to further develop the attitudes, understandings and skills students have acquired in working with the measurement strand in previous years. Specific hands-on tasks involve calculations using millimetres, centimetres, metres and kilometres, as well as diameters and circumferences of circles. Students will also investigate areas of surfaces and tessellations, as well as mass (including suspension and projections) and volume of solids. In addition they will investigate time and how it relates to the calendar, 12 and 24 hour clocks and timetables.
