Problems are then grouped according to the time in which the activity is intended to be completed; 5, 10 or 15 minutes, which gives teachers the opportunity to challenge those students who require extension to complete problems in the specified time.

The ‘task card’ layout of this book is ideally suited to a maths learning centre as the problems can be photocopied, cut, laminated and organised into appropriate boxes for students to choose, depending on the time they have available.
